At the core of this strategy is the Facebook Connect App. Let’s start with possibly a QR Code that once scanned goes to your Facebook ‘Request to Connect App’. Once visitors accept the request it goes to any URL you want, such as to your Facebook page.

When people choose to connect with your FB Connect App, their FB email address is saved into your 3rd party email responder. It also asks (optional) to post to their wall, before redirecting to whatever URL you want all within one fluid process.

The effectiveness of building your email list this way is powerful because a persons Facebook email address tends to be their most important one. This in turn will provide a more responsive email list while increasing conversions.

Like Gating (optional) first has an FB page which entices people to ‘like’ in order to view more content. After ‘liking’, it goes to your ‘liked’ page which reveals the content they were enticed with.
